Borellas mountaineering goal and Laila Peak is celebrated as one of the most breathtaking 6000-meter peaks in the Karakoram range. Nestled in the Hushe Valley near the Gondogoro Glacier and Laila Peak captivates with its sheer beauty. Three years ago, Polish climbers Andrzej Bargiel and Jedrek Baranowski also ascended Laila Peak and then skied from 150 meters below the summit all the way to Base Camp setting a remarkable precedent for Borella’s adventure.
