Benjamin Vedrines went all out with his mountain training in the French Alps, gearing up for his big adventure in the Karakoram. Over two intense days, he faced some serious challenges.

On day one, he conquered eight peaks, hiking a total of 47 kilometers. Imagine trekking through all sorts of tough terrain! He also climbed a whopping 5,756 meters. That’s like climbing up and down a massive skyscraper multiple times!

After a much-needed rest at the Galibier refuge, he dove into day two. This time, he tackled another eight peaks, skiing an impressive 62 kilometers. Picture skiing across vast snowy landscapes for hours! Throughout the day, he climbed a total of 6,072 meters. That’s like climbing a gigantic mountain twice in just one day!

In total, Benjamin triumphed over 16 peaks, covering a staggering distance of 109 kilometers on skis, and conquering a whopping 11,830 meters in elevation gain over those two intense days. His dedication and hard work are truly commendable as he prepares for the ultimate mountain challenge in the Karakoram.
